Studies have shown that exposure to bright blue light in the evening can affect your circadian rhythms and make it harder to fall asleep. Night Shift uses your computer's clock and geolocation to determine when it's sunset in your location. It then automatically shifts the colors in your display to the warmer end of the spectrum. In the morning it returns the display to its regular settings.

May 28, 2006 I havent had much practice with shifting mack trannys. Pretty much just drove an automatic and an Fuller 8LL a little. Any advice the truck will be a e9 v8 w/ 12 speed mack 4:64 rears. I heard that many shift a 12 speed just like a 5 speed and just split the top gear for overdrive. Any advice would be appreciated.
- Choose Apple menu () > System Preferences, then click Displays.
- Click the Night Shift tab.
Schedule: Create a custom Night Shift schedule or have Night Shift turn on automatically from sunset to sunrise.
Manual: Control Night Shift manually.
- If Night Shift is off, select the checkbox to turn Night Shift on until 7 a.m. If you're using a schedule, Night Shift automatically turns off at the scheduled time.

I am a newbie Mac owner (5 days!) and loving every minute. But still trying to find my way around in the OSX environment. Thus, my question:
In Windows, when I want to select several non-consecutive items in a list, I hold the ctrl key and click the items I want. If I want a range of consecutive items, I hold the ctrl AND shift key and click on the first and the last item and windows highlights everything in between.
On the Mac, I hold the command key (clover thing) and click to select non-consecutive items, but is there anything equivalent to the Ctrl-shift (to select a lot of consecutive things with individually clicking each one)?
Thanks.
